Handling and Storage
To insure the best image quality, follow these tips for the handling and
storage of your inkjet paper:
-
Avoid getting fingerprints on
either side of the paper
-
Avoid excessive exposure to
high temperature, high humidity and bright light
-
Keep any unused paper in the
package
-
Keep the package flat and
store in a cool, dry place
Loading Paper
The Digital Photo Paper for inkjet printers has a glossy side for
printing and a matte backside. The backside is all white (no logos)
and can be printed on as well. Black or colored text prints great, but
photos can be hit or miss, so test first. The paper was not designed
for this but when it works you get a unique matte finish photo and a
2-sided print capability.
-
Top Feed Printers
- Kodak, Canon, Epson, and Lexmark Printers: Load the paper with
the glossy side facing toward you.
-
Bottom Feed Printers
- Most HP Printers including P1100
Photosmart printers: Load the paper with the glossy side face down in
the tray.
-
Tray Feed Printers
- HP Photosmart printers: Load the
paper with the glossy side face up in the tray.

*Our papers
are especially formulated for OEM ink. 3rd party inks can print
just as well, but only if they meet the OEM ink specs.
In comparison, the manufacturers' paper may not print very well with 3rd
party inks.
